Confluence Setup Workshop
A two-day intensive for traders who want a repeatable process for identifying high-probability chart zones before they enter a position.
Who this workshop is for
This workshop suits retail traders with at least six months of live or simulated trading experience who already read candlestick charts but struggle to combine multiple technical factors into a single decision. You might recognise trendlines and support levels individually yet enter trades when only one factor is present.
Participants commonly trade equities, FX, or index CFDs on daily to four-hour timeframes. Intraday scalpers may find the framework applicable but will need to adapt tolerance bands for their shorter holding periods.
What you will learn
Over two full days, you will build a personal confluence checklist covering four evidence categories:
- Horizontal structure — identifying significant swing highs and lows from weekly and daily charts, and defining a tolerance band for "near enough" overlap
- Diagonal structure — drawing trend channels and evaluating whether price is approaching a channel boundary or breaking structure
- Dynamic levels — using moving averages (20, 50, 200-period) as confluence zones rather than standalone signals
- Fibonacci clusters — projecting retracement and extension levels from multiple swing points to find overlapping price zones
Each module includes live markup exercises on current market charts, followed by individual practice with instructor circulation.
Day-by-day outline
Day 1 — Mapping the landscape. Morning session covers horizontal and diagonal structure on FTSE and sterling pair examples. Afternoon introduces the confluence tolerance concept and the first group exercise: mark a chart with at least three independent factors and present your reasoning.
Day 2 — Stacking and validating. Morning adds moving averages and Fibonacci clusters. Afternoon focuses on your own historical trades: you submit five charts in advance and receive live group feedback plus written annotations within 48 hours.
What is included and excluded
Included: Printed workbook and confluence checklist, lunch and refreshments (in-person), 90-day complimentary access to Evening Chart Lab, markup feedback on five historical trades, and a certificate of completion.
Excluded: Trading software subscriptions, brokerage accounts, ongoing mentorship beyond the 90-day lab access, and travel to Tewkesbury (remote attendance via video is available at the same fee).
What we expect from you
Arrive with TradingView, MetaTrader, or equivalent charting software installed. Submit five trade screenshots at least seven days before your cohort date. Participate in group markup discussions — seeing how others read the same chart is central to the learning design.
